Wringing the last dregs of sunshine out of summer is a fruitless task but Hellcat Speedracer have run that gauntlet for us this season with 'Lovestruck'.

Millie Ford on vocal collab duties is a curveball we didn't see coming – it's just like seeing your teacher outside of school doing normal human things.

Born out of a stroke of luck when Millie met the Eora/Sydney duo at an ARIAs after party, this collab may have started as a bit, but it's got the chops to get you moving.

"I was telling them I'd been going around all night trying to convince artists that I was nominated for breakthrough artist of the year," she said.

"At that point, I obviously didn't have any music released, so we thought it would be funny to actually head to the studio and make a song together and then try and come back next year with a nom."

Futuristic and addictive, 'Lovestruck' melds together Hellcat Speedracer's energetic production with Millie's refreshing vocals. The result is a track that feels like that last sliver of golden sun before the blanket of night sets in and our rascal energy begins to swell.
